Upon checking in at Mercure, I found the reception staff to be accommodating, swiftly addressing a cleanliness issue in my room with a room change. The new room boasted a captivating morning view, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The breakfast offered a delightful array of options, though the service left something to be desired. The noise levels in the hotel were a bit bothersome, impacting the overall tranquility. However, the location was convenient for our short stopover. The lack of rules at the pool and sauna allowed for a relaxed atmosphere, with kids enjoying the facilities freely. The proximity to a grocery store across the street was a handy touch. The tram connection to the city center made exploring convenient.In summary, Mercure offers a decent stay with good service and amenities, but the room for improvement in certain areas suggests a balance between luxury and value for prospective guests to ponder.
